Growing up with three siblings, we quickly learned that the "privilege" of taking our turn at the crank for fifty turns was actually a way for the parents to occupy our time, keep us from fighting, and regain their sanity all in 20 minutes. It must have worked, because we had our own ice cream all summer long and even some winters. (I think dad drew the line when mom suggested a milk cow.) =)
This past week, Alison and my dad came for a visit. It was a great time with lots of laughs and adventures. With them, they brought us our very own White Mountain Ice Cream Maker!!! Once Cade understood what it was, he was captivated with every detail, right down to which parts of the card board packing should be thrown away!
So, I thought I would share the recipe......(For anyone who actually reads this and would care to have it!)
