Influenza A....

Yes, we have been hit with the dreaded Influenza A.

*Sigh*

Let me tell you, this stuff is terrible!!! I had the flu shot and was able to start on Tamiflu early on so I have had it much less than Cade, but oh my goodness.....this stuff packs a wallop!!!

Poor little Cade...he is on his 7th day of fevers, coughing, headaches, and stomach cramps. Bless his sweet little heart! He seems to be a little better today, but as we have learned with this junk, anything can happen.

Best advice that we were given: STAY HOME if you have been exposed and show some symptoms. You are contagious for 24-48 hours after your fever AND your aches have stopped. This means that you don't go anywhere if you are still taking any kind of med for relief. I had never heard of that before, so it was good to know.

Stay hydrated and just lay around. NO problem there...=)

For now, we are locked in the house with the "Quarantine" flag flying! =) Aaron still seems unaffected. We thought he may be coming down with something, but it was nothing.
